Phytase
1. Product specification
Phytase that breaks down the indigestible phytic acid (phytate) portion in grains and oil seeds; thereby, releasing digestible phosphorus and calcium for the nonruminants. Phosphorus from the phytate molecule can be made more available to poultry and livestock by the addition of phytase.
2. Enzyme Activity Definition
One phytase unit is defined as that amount of enzyme required to liberate 1 μmol inorganic phosphorus per minute from sodium phytate under the condition of sodium phytate concentration 5.0 mmol/l at 37℃ and pH value 5.5, that is, one unit of phytase activity, expressed in U.

4. Storage
Transport and store in cool and dry place and prevent from rain, moisture and sunlight.
Solid, if stored at 25℃, will retain its full activity for a period up to 6 months.
Liquid, if stored at 25℃, It will retain its full activity for a period of up to 3 months at 25℃ and 1 year at 5℃.
5. Precaution
If there is remainder after opened, sealed store is necessary, avoid mixture; Keep away from isolation and drench, mix-transportation with poisonous substance is forbidden; Stored in dry, ventilated and cool place.
